Give The Stomach A Rest When Facing Life’s Challenges.

In our lives, days are not always the same. On some days we feel great, other times we have worries. Sometimes we are relaxed, other times we are tensed with worries on our mind.
In these conditions, friends, even the best foods will not be digested-at least properly that is. In addition, considering the many abominable food combinations most of our meals are prepared under and the general use of junk and unnatural substances for consumption, eating when dealing with a problem will quite simply lead to fermentation and poisoning of the body as these items will never be digested.
Strong emotions that characterize depression such as worry, fear, sadness and anger stop the rhythmic conditions of the stomach walls and dry out the stomach as well. As a matter of fact, too much joy and happiness will do likewise.
If you observe angry and frightened animals and even babies, they have a tendency to refrain from eating, until after a passage of considerable time, these emotional states have passed off.
Moreover, it is true that under stressful circumstances many civilized people refrain from eating and find in truth that they lack the desire for food, but it is also too often that most of us will eat large meals under these circumstances, which will be mostly disease forming foods to start with, that as a consequence, complicates or altogether halts an already retarded ongoing digestion.
From all the indications above, a depressed person simply needs a fast (abstinence from eating) not a feast. The body and the mind need all their physical, mental and spiritual energy to meet challenging circumstances and since much energy is actually required to digest, process and assimilate food, one actually could be adding fuel to a fire from eating (especially too much) when under stress.
Perhaps this is why in the Bible and as documented in other religious faiths, when most people in the olden days such as David, Esther and Paul, were facing trying times, they simply retreated to a place of solitude and abstained from eating.
Renowned hygienist, Albert Mosseri, explains it best when he says: “Life’s difficulties are not as overwhelming when the stomach is empty. Calm comes back and discouragement fades away. Enthusiasm is reborn and hope comes back. All the miseries will then seem less important then they first seemed.”
It may not be what would solve the problem at hand but it will help the mind to focus on fixing what the problem is, so friends as a tool for dealing with life’s challenges abstain from eating till the problem is solved. When you succeed at that, then it may be time to have a feast.

Top 7 Tips To Treat And Prevent Stomach Pain

What we usually describe as stomach pain may have absolutely nothing to do with the stomach. How To Get Flat Belly

So you have decided to get a flat belly? No, those late night infomercials about certain gadgets to help you get a flat belly do not work. Even performing a million sit ups and crunches every day will not get you the coveted six pack abs.
To get a flat belly, you will need to put in some work and know some science. Here some tips to help you achieve your goal and if you stick to it, you will find that not only will your belly get flatter, you will also lose weight from all parts of your body.
Correct eating habit and nutrition is the most important factor in getting a flat belly. You will have to control your blood sugar levels to lose body fat to do this, you will need to consume five to six meals small meals per day. Please note, I said small meals. For example, you can divide the portion of your three daily meals into 5-6 smaller meals. Simple as that.
Next step is to reduce your carbohydrate consumption to 50 percent or less from your meals. Most people eat too much carbohydrate and before their body could burn up the carbs for energy, they would have already been converted to glycogen and fat. However, you need not go to the extreme by cutting your carbs too drastically.
Consume your small meals every 2 to 3 hours. This is because when your stomach empties itself, your body will tend to conserve fat and by eating frequently, you will be controlling your blood sugar level to encourage fat loss and you will begin to lose weight gradually. However, if you are still not losing weight, then you are consuming too much calories and so if this happens to you, make your meals even smaller by cutting more carbs.
By the first week, you will probably lose between 4 to 5 pounds (about 2kg) of water weight. Subsequently, you should about 1 to 2 pounds per week. If you are losing more weight than that, then you are probably losing muscles too. So monitor your weight loss carefully. Now, if you are not losing 1 to 2 pounds per week, then reduce another 100 calories from your meals. Remember to abstain from sugar laden drinks such as soft drinks or coffee with cream and sugar as these drinks are chock full of calories.
You will need to be on this eating program for six days a week reserving one day as cheat day to reward yourself for keeping up with the regimen successfully. However, I am not in favor the cheat day because people tend to use it as an excuse to and over eat. You need decide for yourself whether you want to include a cheat day or not.
You may also want to to include a weight training program because for every pound of muscle you gain, you will burn 30-50 extra calories a day naturally. Part of your weight training program should include abdominal exercises to tighten up your abs to give you the flat belly look.
Lastly, set aside four to five days a week to perform cardio exercises for about 30-40 minutes. This is done to help you burn up more calories.
Is this flat belly program easy to follow? I will say it is not and that is why so few people succeed in getting have flat stomachs. However, it is definitely achievable if your motivation to have a flat belly is compelling enough.

Flat Tax, It Could Work!

With great expectations for the coming year, I have begun thinking about that great annual past time, the dreaded Tax Return!
Like so many other good citizens from this great country of ours, I will leave it to the very last moment to mail off this year’s tax return. Last year I promised myself that this year would be different. I would make a conscious effort to get them off before that last minute rush.
In this day and age, is this really the best system our great and wonderful leaders can come up with? After all, we now live in a world that allows a satellite, miles above us, to read a licence plate. We can get the worldwide web on our cell phone; download TV programs that we may have missed (or just want to save onto our iPods).
Our original tax laws were introduced in 1913; they were simple and very easy to understand. We had tax brackets ranging from 1 to 7 percent; a far cry from today’s levels. The IRS tax codes, regulations, and guidelines, now have well over 9 million words! It's no wonder there's so much confusion. Is there anyone out there who really understands this monster?
Let’s put this into some form of perspective:

A Flat Rate Tax for individuals, and a Flat Rate Tax for businesses. The same rules applying to all, regardless of the size of income. All of us paying the same rate. Most of the successful countries have levied Flat Rate Taxes of less than 17%, with a starting level that protects the lower income groups.
Could life ever be that simple again? The real question here is, would our leaders really want us to understand what they were up to? And then, there are the lobbyists’. Oh well, the daydream was nice while it lasted.
